Kuhlia mugil, known also as Barred flagtail, Ocean Flagfish and Fivebar Flagtail[1] is a species of fish in the Kuhliidae family that can live both in salt and fresh water. It is often associated with coral reefs. This fish has a wide distribution in tropical waters from the Eastern Pacific to the Indo-Pacific. Adults have an average maximum length of 20 cm, but exceptionally some individuals may reach 40 cm.[2]
